2026 Activities

Here is what we have in store so far for our 2026 season!!! We will be completing the schedule once we have confirmations from some of our participants but we have added our major theme weekends. Please check back soon for our complete list.

As usual we’ll be having our fair share of dances, bingo, karaoke, hay rides, movies and kids fun. Our schedule could change so we would ask that you check back regularly for updates.

May Weekends

May 1 - 3 - OPENING WEEKEND!!!

A quiet weekend to sit around the campfire to get reacquainted and for everyone to get settled in for another season.

May 8 - 10 - IT’S MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND!!! Come and join us for our Mother's Day weekend. The BINGO season opener will start with a late night wine bingo on Saturday night so some lucky person can get stocked up for the summer.....Mother’s get a free card.

May 16 - 19 - OUR FIRST LONG WEEKEND OF THE SEASON

It’s Victoria Day Weekend, Canada’s Unofficial Start to Summer. 

May 22 - 24 -

May 29 - 31 - IT’S OUR ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT 

FORE!!! Our 20th Annual Maplewood Acres golf tournament will be held on Saturday, May 30th. A Vegas (best ball) format will allow everyone from the novice to the seasoned duffer to have a great time. Cost for golfers is $TBD including green fees, electric cart and dinner back at the campground. For spouses just wanting to take part in the dinner, you are welcome to join us ($). GOLFERS!!!! WE NEED TO ADVISE THE COURSE OF THE NUMBER OF FOURSOMES 2 WEEKS BEFORE SO WE NEED YOUR CONFIRMATION BY MAY 17th AT THE LATEST PLEASE NOTE WE ARE AGAIN PLAYING AT GLENGARRY GOLF CLUB IN ALEXANDRIA THIS YEAR.

June Weekends

June 5 - 7 - IT’S OUR BEEKER BALL TOURNAMENT

Back by popular demand is our annual beeker ball tournament. If you've never heard of it come on out and try your hand in this fun for all event.

June 12 - 14 - IT'S MAPLEWOOD IDOL WEEKEND 

It’s going to be a contest we’ll all remember as we hold our second annual Maplewood Idol singing competition on Saturday night. In the spirit of the Idol shows around the world we’ll be looking to crown our favourite singer. Come on out and cheer on all of our competitors.. 

June 19 -21 - FATHERS DAY WEEKEND!!!

This weekend is dedicated to our dads. Come join us for our annual Father’s Day dart tournament on Saturday afternoon. Bingo is on tap for Saturday night and we’ll be making it a late night beer and wine cooler event. Dads get a free card.

July Weekends

JULY 3 - 5 - CANADA DAY WEEKEND

It's Canada's birthday this weekend so once again we'll be celebrating with plenty of activities starting with FIREWORKS on Friday night. On Saturday get ready to decorate your bikes, strollers and any other thing that you would like to showcase in our annual Canada Day parade. We'll surely be topping off our parade with another of our surprise water gun fights so you best be ready and bring your water gun. LOTS OF LIVE MUSIC ON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH OUR ANNUAL CANADA DAY DANCE featuring the Brain Dead Geniuses!!

JULY 10 - 12 IT’S A MAPLEWOOD POOL PARTY!!! 

Come and join us for a pool party hosted by DJ Wayne!!! We’ll be spending the day around the pool with music and loads of activities for all. 

JULY 17 - 19 - IT’S A CELTIC WEEKEND!!

On Saturday we'll be holding a dance hosted by our local Celtic band Six Mile Cross Come and join us for a party that will surely be a memorable occasion for all. We are also planning activities in keeping with our theme for the weekend so check back with us to see about our leprechaun pot'o'gold scavenger hunt, St Patrick's Day crafts, gold coin toss, highland games etc..

JULY 24 - 26 –HO HO HO  IS THAT SANTA??

You guessed it, old Saint Nick will be making a pit stop at Maplewood Acres again this year during his summer vacation. A candy cane hunt, caroling hayride, and site decorating are all part of our plans for our Christmas in July weekend. PARENTS.....Don't forget to bring along a gift for your little ones as Santa's workshop is closed for the summer. Please see the office for further info at check-in. We will also be having a Dance with Santa on Saturday night.

August Weekends

JULY 31 - AUGUST 3 – A LONG WEEKEND IN ONTARIO AND WE'LL BE HAVING ANOTHER POOL PARTY

Come and join us for a great time around the pool on Saturday afternoon with lots of music, games and entertainment.

AUGUST 7 - 9 - 

AUGUST 14 - 16 - WESTERN WEEKEND

Yeeha! It's our western weekend. Be sure to join us for what promises to be a fun-filled weekend. Saturday night will be highlighted by a dance and our ever-popular mechoui dinner ($). A horseshoe tournament is also in store for Saturday afternoon.

AUGUST 21 - 23 - 

AUGUST 28 – 30 - IT’S THE LAST POOL PARTY OF THE SUMMER

Another fun day around the pool with lots of games in store. Things will be quiet on Saturday night and Sunday as we start putting things in place for our upcoming Halloween weekend.

September Weekends

SEPTEMBER 4 - 7 - LABOUR DAY WEEKEND AND IT’S HALLOWEEN FEST AT MAPLEWOOD

The last long weekend of the summer. Ghosts, goblins and ghouls abound during our Halloween Fest weekend. Please bring your decorations for the site decorating extravaganza and don't forget to dress up for the best costume contest and parade. "Trick or treating" and Fireworks by the pyrotechnical team of Billy, Wayne and Yves will be on the agenda for Saturday. Our annual haunted house adventures, for those who dare, will prove to chill your bones on Sunday Night. Candy Bar Bingo will be held on Monday afternoon.

SEPTEMBER 11 - 13 -  A SEASONAL CAMPER GET TOGETHER

We’ll be having an early Thanksgiving Supper on Saturday night for our annual thank you dinner for our seasonal campers. To be followed by a dance for all.

SEPTEMBER 18 - 20 - GO KARTING FOR ALL

We have replaced our car rally with a trip to Karting St Zotique. We will have a private session on the track which will be reserved for just our campers on Saturday morning. We will also be having a potluck soup and grilled cheese sandwiches supper fundraiser for a charitable donation on Saturday for supper. Prepare a soup, stew or chili to bring up and we will be preparing grilled cheese sandwiches to sell to raise the funds.

SEPTEMBER 25 - 27 - A QUIET WEEKEND AROUND THE CAMPFIRE 

A quiet weekend to sit and enjoy a campfire. Activities may be posted

October Weekends

OCTOBER 2 - 4 - OUR CLOSING WEEKEND

It’s our final weekend and time to close up for another season. Come on out and join us for the last weekend around the campfire!!
