2023 Activities

Here is what we have in store for our 2023 season!!! As usual we’ll be having our fair share of dances, bingo, karaoke, hay rides and kids fun. Our schedule could change so we would ask that you check back regularly for updates.

May Weekends

May 5 - 7 Opening Weekend!!!

A quiet weekend to sit around the campfire to get reacquainted and for everyone to get settled in for another season.

May 12 - 14 MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND!!! And Super Sub night!!!

Come and join us for our Mother's Day weekend. We’ll be having our seasonal get together that was postponed last fall and Jimmy Mac will be cooking us up a feast of his Super Subs. The season opener of late night wine bingo is in store so some lucky person can get stocked up for the summer (or maybe just a part of it lol).....Mother’s get a free card.

May 19 - 22 Canada’s Unofficial Start to Summer!!

It’s Victoria Day Weekend and we will be hosting a Karaoke event on Saturday night so come on out and give those vocal chords a workout. Bingo will be in store for Sunday. We may still be adding some activities to our schedule for this weekend.

May 26 - 28 Beeker ball tournament

Back by popular demand, our beeker ball tournament. If you've never heard of it come on out and try your hand at Maplewood's favourite sport.

June Weekends

June 2 - 4 It's a Games for All!! 

We are planning a weekend full of games such as Family Feud, Trivia Contest, Name That Tune, a cribbage tournament etc. The final schedule will be decided on closer to the weekend and by popular demand of all.

June 9 – 11 It’s our Annual Golf Tournament

FORE!!! Our 15th Annual Maplewood Acres golf tournament will be held on Saturday, June 10th. A Vegas (best ball) format will allow everyone from the novice to the seasoned duffer to have a great time. Cost for golfers is $TBD including green fees, electric cart and dinner back at the campground. For the spouses of golfers wanting to take part in the dinner, you are welcome to join us ($).

GOLFERS!!!! WE NEED TO ADVISE THE COURSE OF THE NUMBER OF FOURSOMES 2 WEEKS BEFORE SO WE NEED YOUR CONFIRMATION BY MAY 27th AT THE LATEST. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE BACK TO PLAYING AT GLENGARRY GOLF CLUB IN ALEXANDRIA THIS YEAR.

June 16 - 18 FATHERS DAY WEEKEND!!! 

This weekend is dedicated to our dads. Come join us for our annual Father’s Day dart tournament on Saturday afternoon.

June 23 -26 The first official weekend of summer!! 

And it’s a long weekend for our Quebec campers!!! The young ones are finally out of school so come and join us for a School's Out weekend. There will be lots of activities in store. A sock hop dance is in store for Saturday evening and chocolate bar bingo is in store for Sunday afternoon. A fun weekend for all!!!

July Weekends

June 30 - July 3 Canada Day Weekend 

It's Canada's birthday this weekend so once again we'll be celebrating with everyone who will be having a birthday in 2023. There will be lots of birthday activities and of course a birthday cake. Get ready to decorate your bikes, strollers and any other thing that you would like to showcase in our Canada Day parade on Sunday afternoon. We'll surely be topping off our parade with another of our surprise water gun fights so you best be ready and bring your water gun. LOTS OF MUSIC ON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH OUR ANNUAL BAND DAY AND WE’LL BE HAVING AN EVENING BINGO FOLLOWED BY FIREWORKS ON SUNDAY NIGHT!!

July 7 - 9 It's a Pool Party Weekend!!!! 

Come and join us for our annual pool party hosted by Wayne and Rocky!!! We’ll be spending the day around the pool with music and loads of activities for all. On Saturday evening, weather permitting, we will close off the day with a late-night adult swim.

July 14 - 16 It's Texas Holdem

Come join us on Saturday night for a tribute to Vegas with an evening of Texas Holdem fun. Don't forget to bring along your lucky charms for good luck.

July 21 - 23 Ho Ho Ho is that Santa?? 

You guessed it, old Saint Nick will be making a pit stop at Maplewood Acres again this year during his summer vacation. A candy cane hunt, caroling hayride, and site decorating are all part of our plans for our Christmas in July weekend. PARENTS.....Don't forget to bring along a gift for your little ones as Santa's workshop is closed for the summer. Please see the office for further info at check-in. We will also be having a Dance with Santa on Saturday night.

July 28 - 30 Wayne's World is back again for a white party!!!

Come and join us for a party with Maplewood’s favourite DJ!!! We’ll be having a “Dance for the Ages” starting out with the 1950s and working our way to today. Come on out dressed in WHITE so we really brighten things up.

August Weekends

August 4 - 6 A long weekend in Ontario and it' Mardi Gras at Maplewood Acres 

Come on out and enjoy the fun.....A pirate treasure hunt is in store for the kids on Saturday afternoon and that evening we’ll be hosting a street party. Lots of other Mardi Gras activities are in store during the weekend.

August 11 - 13 Another Pool Party weekend!!! 

Due to popular demand, we will be having another Saturday afternoon pool party with lots of music and games by the pool. On Saturday evening we'll be holding a late-night high stakes and 6 beer/4 wine cooler bingo.

August 18 - 20 Bean Bag Tournament Weekend

On Saturday afternoon call it what you want, Corn hole, Bean Bag or Bean Toss, no matter what it's fun for all and we're looking forward to our 2nd annual tournament. Saturday night will be highlighted with a dance that will be a great time for all.

August 25 - 27 Yeeha! It's our western weekend. 

Be sure to join us for what promises to be a fun-filled weekend. Saturday night will be highlighted by a return visit from our favourite country band "SOUTHWIND" and our ever-popular mechoui dinner ($). A horseshoe tournament is in store for Saturday afternoon.

September Weekends

September 1 - 4 Labour Day Weekend and it's Halloween Fest at Maplewood

The last long weekend of the summer. Ghosts, goblins and ghouls abound during our Halloween Fest weekend. Our annual haunted house adventures, for those who dare, will prove to chill your bones on Sunday Night. Please bring your decorations for the site decorating extravaganza and don't forget to dress up for the best costume contest and parade. "Trick or treating" and Fireworks by the pyrotechnical team of Billy, Wayne and Yves will be on the agenda for Saturday.

September 8 - 10 A quiet weekend 

We will be having our last late night high stakes bingo on Saturday night!!!

September 15 - 17 Fall Car Rallye

A perfect activity for when the weather is a little cooler. If you like scavenger hunts come and join us for our annual car rally which is certain to be a great time for all. 

September 22 - 24  Early Thanksgiving 

We’ll be having an early Thanksgiving Supper on Saturday night for our annual thank you dinner. Supper will be followed by a dance hosted by our favourite band Southwind.

September 29 – October 1 A quiet weekend

A quiet weekend to spend around the campfire.

October Weekends

October 6 - 9 Thanksgiving and Our Closing Weekend

It’s our final weekend and time to close up for another season. Come on out and join us for the last weekend around the campfire!!
